Receipts for people who bill them back
Snap the receipt.
Bill the client.
Done.
Point your iPhone at a receipt. Flashstub reads the store, the total and the date on the phone, asks who it's for, and files it. The whole thing takes seconds, at the table, not from a shoebox at month end.

How it works
Three taps, and usually fewer.
Point
Open Flashstub and the camera is already up. Hold it over the receipt; it finds the paper, straightens it and reads it. Store, total and date appear on a card.
Check
Everything it read is boxed on the receipt. Right? Tap ✓. A number wrong? Tap the box, then tap the printed line, and it reads that instead.
File
Personal, business, or billable to a client. Receipts scanned at a client's place are pre-assigned. Say the client's name instead of typing it.
What it does
Built for one job, properly.
Reads the receipt on the phone
Store, address, total, date, and when they're printed, tax, tip and line items. Restaurant, taxi, rideshare, hotel, airline, rail, parking, fuel, office supplies.
Personal, business or client
Every expense is one of the three. Client expenses carry the client's name so they're ready to bill back.
Mileage that logs itself
Turn it on and drives are detected from motion, with GPS only while you're moving. Classify a drive as business and it becomes a mileage expense at the federal rate.
Learns where your clients are
Classify one drive to a client and later receipts scanned there, and drives ending there, are matched to that client. You can always change it.
One list, one chart, one PDF
Expenses grouped by date or category with subtotals. Spend by category, month and vendor. Export a PDF report with every receipt page attached.
Big buttons, plain words
Everything you touch sits in the bottom half of the screen, the main action lowest. A four-step guide is built in, in case you ever need it.
Privacy
Nothing leaves your phone.
Receipts, expenses, clients and drives are stored only on your iPhone. There is no account to create, no server holding your data, no analytics, no ads. Delete the app and it is all gone.
The receipt is read by Apple's on-device text recognition and, on newer iPhones, Apple's on-device language model. Older iPhones can download a small model once, on request, and run it locally too.
